Women make up about half of the workforce, yet they get paid less than men in almostevery occupation. In this program, we'll discuss the gender pay gap and go over statisticsthat compare men's and women's salaries. We'll talk about how to self-advocate for equalpay for equal work by understanding your worth and identifying your strengths. We'll goover how to have this conversation with your manager. We'll also talk to managersdirectly, to help them ensure that hiring and promotions are done equitably. Lastly, we'lltake a look at how the gender pay gap also affects nonbinary employees.
