One in five American adults suffers from some type of anxiety disorder. That startling statistic tells us there's a high likelihood of working with someone who suffers from a clinically diagnosed anxiety disorder. In this course, we'll discuss how to support a colleague or a direct report who suffers from an anxiety disorder. We'll go over the five types of anxiety disorders and the mental and physical symptoms that accompany them. We'll talk about what a panic attack looks like and what often triggers symptoms of anxiety. Lastly, we'll walk you through various ways to support someone living with one of these disorders.
