Bullying isn't something that just affects children. A survey showed that 27% of American workers reported experiencing some form of bullying by managers or coworkers. Another 21% reported witnessing bullying in the workplace. In California, Assembly Bill 2053 changes how workplaces in the state view abusive behavior, or bullying. This bill also requires that employers operating in California, with 50 or more employees, provide supervisors and managers training on anti-workplace bullying. In this course, we'll define workplace bullying under California state law and discuss what it is versus what it is not. We'll go over what to do if you see bullying and abusive behavior at work, or if you experience it yourself.
