The way we do business has forever changed due to COVID-19. Many professions have changed how they provide their service from education to healthcare and beyond. One of the most significant changes is the transition to remote work. Businesses around the world are adopting new work-from-home policies. Even after the pandemic crisis is over, many companies will adopt a hybrid work environment, where employees will be allowed to work from home at least for a couple of days a week. As remote work finds a permanent home in the workplace, organizations are opening themselves to fraud due to the remote work environment. Though remote work can leave organizations open to fraud, they can take measures to minimize their risk. This course gives a basic overview of how organizations can mitigate fraud risk in the remote work environment. This overview course may be appropriate for professionals at all organizational levels.
