Your improv partner says, "I see you've caught a bug that makes you dance!" If you say, "No, I haven't," it stops the show in its tracks. It gives the other person nothing to work with. A better answer to this scenario is, "Yes! And it's contagious." Now the other person has something to work with-they've caught the dancing bug as well. And the show can go on.
