This course is for anyone working at an organization that has access to Material Non-Public Information (MNPI). The course defines insider trading, the use of MNPI, and the duty of trust and confidence that employees have towards this information. Topics covered include SEC enforcement, avoiding insider tipping and shadow trading, and defining confidential information. Penalties and violations as well as reporting obligations are also addressed.
