Welcome to the “Bystander Intervention for Sexual Harassment” course designed to prepare employees to be active bystanders during sexual harassment instead of indifferent bystanders. This course, comprising six lessons, defines sexual harassment, outlines the barriers to act that bystanders face, and provides intervention tools bystanders can use to address sexual harassment. After this course, viewers will be able to recognize sexual harassment, identify when they should intervene, and be able to intervene using the distract, delegate, direct, or delay intervention tactics. When paired with an Illinois-specific anti-harassment training course, t his course is compliant with training requirements for Chicago, IL employees.
