Welcome to the “Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)” course designed to help viewers understand the importance of CPNI protection and how to be compliant. This course, comprising two lessons, covers why customer data protection matters for telecommunication companies and how to be compliant with the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) CPNI regulations. The first lesson will explain what CPNI is, how it’s used, and briefly how to ensure compliance. While the second lesson in this course will more thoroughly explain the six categories of rules that are regulated by the FCC.
