This course examines the functions of the financial system. It introduces the types of assets that investors, information- motivated traders, and risk managers use to advance their financial objectives, it also presents ways practitioners classify these assets into markets. Additionally, this course provides an overview of financial intermediaries and it discusses how market participants order trades and how those orders are processed.
