Good manufacturing practices (GMP) is a term that describes a set of regulations, codes, and procedures that manufacturers in many industries must comply with. These industries include pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, dietary supplements, and food and beverage. The United States Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, upholds these regulations. In this program, we'll introduce you to the principles of GMP, discuss the different governing bodies of these regulations, and go over how the FDA enforces compliance.
