Welcome to the “Microsoft Power BI: Bringing Your Reports to Life” course that teaches you how to start using Power BI to generate insightful reports. This course is led by expert Mike Thomas and contains eight lessons that are hands-on, straightforward, and easy-to-follow to become proficient in using Power BI. In this course, Mike will guide you through what Power BI is, how to load data and create a data model, and how to add visuals to your report and apply formatting elements. You’ll learn how to create interactive filters and slicers, as well as how to effectively use the Measures feature and Calculate function, important tools in Power BI. This course also covers how to share and/or publish your report. After this experience, viewers will have an applicable knowledge of Power BI so they can create visual aids and boost data analytics to enhance strategic decision-making.
