Welcome to the “Procurement Basics” course intended to introduce learners to the procurement process, price negotiations, material requirements planning, and inventory management. This course, comprising five lessons, explores how procurement should meet the needs of the business and the processes that surround production and inventory planning. By the end of the course, learners will understand the nine basic steps of the procurement process, how to negotiate prices, and how to use an MRP system for production planning.
