Tax scams continue to proliferate. Each new piece of tax legislation seems to provide fodder for the scammers. As we try to understand the changes in tax law the scammers are plotting ways to use them to steal money. This course reviews the history of tax scams and data theft, identifies the most common scams, and provides tips to help tax professionals and their clients from data theft and from being scammed.
