One of the results of the Pandemic has been that payroll compliance has increased in complexity. In addition, SB/SE continues the discussion of new compliance programs which require increased vigilance to payroll administration. This course addresses the current issues of managing the payroll engagement, the newest federal forms associated with payroll administration, trends and concerns of the payroll administrator and current court cases. State tax authorities are tasked by their legislatures of such leave programs, employer mandatory sponsored retirement programs, amongst others. Never has payroll administration been more complex.
