  1. Where can I find the Ideas Portal?
    The Ideas Portal lives at ideas.lcvista.com
  2. Will I be able to see LCvista’s roadmap?
    The Ideas Portal shows idea statuses: Open, Planned, In Progress, or Complete. In the future, we intend to add a Roadmap view as well.
  3. What do the statuses mean?
    Each idea in the LCvista Ideas Portal has a status that shows where it is in our review and development process.
    - Open: A newly submitted idea. This is the default status for all ideas.
    - Under Review: The idea is being researched or validated. We may reach out for more details or combine similar ideas before deciding next steps.
    - Planned: The idea has been prioritized and added to our product roadmap. 
    - In Progress: The idea is actively being designed or built by our Product and Engineering teams.
    - Complete:  The idea has been implemented and released. 
  4. Can I add screenshots or files to my idea?
    Yes! You can attach files, images, and even embed videos when creating a post. This helps us better understand your request.
  5. Will my past enhancement requests show up here?
    Not all previously submitted requests will appear in the portal. We reviewed over 2,000 historic requests and pre-populated about 100 of the most common, high-demand ideas. If you don’t see something you’ve asked for before, please add it to the portal so others can support it too!
  6. Do votes (“likes”) decide what gets built?
    Votes are important, but they aren’t the only factor. They help show demand, but our Product team also considers:
    - Reach: how many firms and users are impacted
    - Impact: how much it improves workflows
    - Alignment: how it fits with our strategic goals
    - Effort: how long it will take to build
    Votes help validate demand, but they don’t automatically set priorities.
  7. How is this different from how feedback was handled before?
    Before, requests were logged in Jira, our engineering workflow tool, and only visible internally. Now, the Ideas Portal gives you a transparent way to:
    - Post ideas in your own words
    - See what other firms are asking for
    - Upvote and comment on existing ideas
    - Follow along as statuses change
  8. How will I know when my idea changes status?
    When the status of an idea changes, the person who submitted it and everyone who voted on it gets an automatic email notification. You can also log in at any time to see all of your ideas and their current status.
  9. How can I stay updated on new ideas posted to the portal? 
    We'll send a Weekly Ideas Report every Monday at 8:00 a.m. PT to anyone who has posted, voted, or commented in the Ideas Portal. The report highlights the top five new ideas from the past week so you can easily see what’s trending. You can unsubscribe at any time if you prefer not to receive these updates.
  10. Who at my firm can use the Ideas Portal?
    Once we officially launch, any LCvista Default Admin user at your firm can log in and submit ideas.
  11. How is the Ideas Portal being rolled out?
    - Soft launch: We’re starting with a group of admin users to gather feedback.
    - Full launch: Soon, the portal will be available to all LCvista Default Admins, with announcements shared via our newsletter and in-app messages.
  12. Can I report bugs here too?
    No. The Ideas Portal is for enhancement requests and feature ideas only. If you are experiencing an issue, please continue to report it through LCvista Support.
